What is a conversion loft? A conversion loft is an older building that was used for a purpose other than residential housing. It was then "converted" into loft homes. They tend to have original detailing which adds to the character of the home. IE: brick walls, timber columns, industrial windows, high ceilings.
Do I have to leave SoMa to shop or dine? In the past 10 years SoMa has developed into a self sufficient neighborhood. What is it like on game day in SoMa? AT&T park is great and has helped to transform the area. Game day parking can be difficult, but most homes in the area have parking.
Where can I find public transportation in SoMa? Trains (Municipal Railway) run along the Embarcadero, trains (Caltrain) to the Peninsula & Airport, Bart to the East Bay. Ferries to Marin & East Bay.
